EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND FOR HAITI: In response to the earthquake in Haiti this week, the United Church of Canada has launched an emergency appeal designated to relief and reconstruction. Through our partners in Haiti this money will help to meet immediate needs as well as ensure funding for future reconstruction projects. Pleas note that no money donated goes to administration costs as these are absorbed by the church. The National church has also committed $20,000 from its Emergency Relief Funds to help with the disaster.
