About Us

Wesley United Church is a congregation of the United Church of Canada which serves the greater NDG area.  We are a diverse community of believers, welcoming those whose faith is firmly grounded as well as those who are searching to find and understand God in new ways. We encourage questions, all kinds of questions; of faith of life, of meaning.

We are children and youth, adults and seniors.  We are single, partnered and married, gay and straight. We come from a variety of cultures and countries and we bring a multitude of gifts, abilities, talents, and resources.

We worship together on Sunday mornings at 10:30; in song, in prayer, in scripture and in sacrament.  We share our joys and sorrows, our celebrations and worries, our favourite hymns and new ones alike.  We are not afraid to laugh together nor do we shy away from the difficult times in life, offering our support to one another and honouring the diversity of our experiences. We worship is in English, but we welcome people of all linguistic backgrounds.

We honour the needs of families and children.  During Sunday worship we offer nursery care for children under five, Sunday School for five to twelve year olds and Youth Class for those over thirteen.
